At Lemon & Lotus, we believe small, mindful choices matter.
From the paper we print on to how each order is packaged, every decision is made with care — for the card, the recipient, and the environment.

We don’t claim to be perfect, but we are intentional.

Paper & Printing

All Lemon & Lotus cards are printed on 100% recycled, uncoated cardstock, chosen for its quality, weight, and longevity.

Our cards are printed locally in small batches. This helps reduce waste, supports local production, and ensures every design is made with purpose — never mass-produced.

To keep our cards as recyclable as possible, we avoid coated, laminated, or metallic finishes, as these can limit recyclability in standard paper recycling streams.

Packaging With Care

We aim to use recycled, recyclable, or biodegradable materials wherever possible.

Each card is:

• Protected in a clear cello sleeve to ensure it arrives in perfect condition
  
  
• Sent in kraft rigid mailers or kraft boxes for durability during transit
  

All envelopes are kraft, and we avoid unnecessary fillers or excess packaging.

While biodegradable sleeves are available, they can yellow over time. To ensure presentation quality and longevity, we currently use cello sleeves — a considered choice to protect the card you’re gifting.

Conscious Design Choices

We intentionally choose materials and finishes that allow our products to be recycled responsibly at the end of their life, while still meeting our standards for quality and durability.
